I’ve not read any of these. (I started Moby Dick and Lolita and abandoned them.) I own Anna Karenina – maybe this year I’ll finally read it!

I was supposed to read Moby Dick in college, but abandoned it. It was pretty droll. And I thought that if I read it as a “mature” adult I’d have a different perspective.

I love Madame bovary. Lolita left me feeling grubby. And war and peace, well I struggled through it to the end years ago when I hadn’t plucked up the courage to give up on a book I wasn’t enjoying.

thanks Karen for stopping by. I refuse to struggle through any book. Learned my lesson from my college lit classes. I’ve heard that War and Peace can really take it out you and I’ve never heard of Lolita being described as ‘grubby’.
