Top Ten Tuesday: What’s Under the Tree?

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl.

Books I Hope to Find Under My Tree

Winter is very nearly here and it has become painfully obvious that we will not have a white Christmas. Since I have a little break from classes, I’m going to cozy up with a few good books.

  1. Song of Achilles by Madeline Miller
  2. The Water Dancer by Ta-Nehisi Coates
  3. Red at the Bone by Jacquline Woodson
  4. Out by Natsuo Kirino
  5. Sulwe by Lupita Nyong’o
  6. Freshwater by Akwaeke Emezi
  7. Akata Warrior by Nnedi Okorafor
  8. On the Come Up by Angie Thomas
  9. Hitting a Straight Lick with a Crooked Stick by Zora Neale Hurston
  10. Saga, Vol. 2-9 by Brian K. Vaughan

Have you read any of these? Do you have any books with numbers in the title?

And, don’t forget to check out my Youtube channel.

We won’t have a white Christmas either. I think I’m okay with that as long as I can still cozy up with books, too! 😉

On The Come Up was really good! As far as numbers in the title go Gone in the Dark: One Woman’s Quest to Find The Golden State Killer was great, and I’m not even a fan of crime fiction!

The Song of Achilles is on my TBR shelf. I’m eager to read your thoughts on it.
