The Friday 56 – Re Jane by Patricia Park

The Friday 56 is a weekly meme hosted over at Freda’s Voice. The rules are simple and go something like this.

1.  Grab a book, any book.
2.  Turn to page 56 or 56% in your eReader (If you have to improvise, that’s ok.)
3.  Find any sentence, (or a few, just don’t spoil it)
4.  Post it.

The Triple Dog Dare Pseudo- Reading Plan

I’m one of those people who have to have a plan. I have fun making plans. However, I am also one of those people who make plans and somehow quickly deviate from them.

Why? Who knows.

So, I’ve come up with another plan. Well, kind of.

As you know or even if you don’t know, I’m participating in the last TBR Triple Dog Dare dare. It’s a fairly simple reading dare. All you have to do from January 1, 2016 to April 1, 2016 is read what’s in your TBR pile as of midnight December 31st.

I Triple Dog Dare You

I stumbled across this blog and challenge dare when I was looking for the Art of the Novella reading challenge. It was kind of like six degrees of blogger separation. Looking for one thing, click on website, and something else comes up. Well, that’s what happened when I found James Reads Books and his TBR Triple Dog Dare.

The rules of the TBR Triple Dog Dare are simple.

For the first three months of 2016 read only the books that were already in your TBR stack as of midnight December 31, 2015.

Have FUN!!

One of the things that appeals to me about this challenge dare is you can change it as you see fit to keep having fun and not feel like you have an albatross around your neck.
