August Wrap Up & September TBR (But Not)

This year is all about knocking books off that ever-growing TBR pile. At least, in theory. It does, however, seem that I’m still NOT doing a very good job because I keep acquiring more books and reading shiny new ones.

ARC August Reading Challenge

This year I’ll join the ARC August Reading Challenge. I saw it late in the challenge last year and made a note to sign-up for this year’s challenge. So, here we are. My goal is get my reviews posted a day or two before the release day.

I have a lot of ARCs that I need to read. However I’m going to keep my ARC TBR limited to what’s coming out in August and September.

Classics Club Spin #18

Alright, here we go! I decided to participate in The Classics Club Spin #18. I thought I was participating overall, but couldn’t find my list of 50 classic books. I mean, not that it really matters because I probably would still have 50 books on my list.

Anyway, how does the Spin work? It’s as easy as 1-2-3. Really. Choose 20 books from your Classics Club list that you have yet to read and post the list to your blog before August 1st. On the morning of August 1st a number between 1 & 20 will post and you’ll have until August 31st to read your Spin book and post a review. What!? How simple could that be?

The Make Me Read It readathon. It’s hosted by  Ely @ Tea & Titles and Val @ The Innocent Smiley runs from August 6th – 13th. It’s hard to believe that it’s been 4 months since the last Bout of Books and excited for BoB20, which will run from August 21-27. I’m sure it’ll be just as much fun.
