Top Ten Book To Movie Adaptations I’m Looking Forward To or Ten Book To Movie Adaptations I Still Need To Watch
I’m always a little slow on the uptake when it comes to the latest movies perhaps it’s because I rarely watch TV or maybe it’s because I refuse to pay those astronomical ticket prices for something I’m sure I’ll wish I had my money back less than halfway throughout the movie or perhaps it’s because Hollywood keeps recycling the same old tired crap or maybe it’s all the above.
Having said that there are a handful of movies I’d like to see that began their humble beginnings as books.
- The Lovely Bones
- The Fault in Our Stars
- The Perks of Being a Wallflower
- Gone Girl
- One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest
- Lord of the Flies
- The Giver
- To Kill a Mockingbird
Now mind you although I’d like to see the movie, I shall haven’t read the books, and I refuse to see the movie before I’ve read the book. It’s a rule of mine. It’s rather psychosomatic I know. I feel if the movie is crap than there’s a good chance the book will be too and won’t read it. But I could be wrong.
