This month I’m doing things a little differently. I’m will do two posts – one for my June book haul and the other for the June wrap up and July TBR
I am trying to knock books off that ever-growing TBR pile. However it does not seem to be working as will be evidenced when you see my June book haul.
A couple of months ago I decided to take drastic measures.
- Book buying ban for the remainder of the year (the library is your friend)
- Unhaul unread monthly TBR
My last Stacking the Shelves encompassed the books I procured during May and mid-June and since then I have managed to acquire a few more.
I love, love going to the used book sales, especially the library book sales. Oh, the treasures.
I have a technique. One that’s been admired by men and women alike. I start in one spot, check out the tops of the tables and then move on to the boxes on the floor under the tables and sometimes there are boxes stacked on top of boxes. Continue reading
I’ve been thinking about sharing the books I procure throughout the week, but never have as I
don’t try not to buy books every week and I must admit I’ve been doing a pretty good job of it. But I thought I’d give it a go this week since I got some pretty good book booty. So, buckle up this is going to cover May and June.
