Top Ten Tuesday: Books I’d Want With Me While Stranded On a Deserted Island

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl. This week’s Top Ten Tuesday is

Books I’d Want With Me While Stranded On a Deserted Island

FYI: I totally cheated. I have a couple of series, graphic novel compendium (56 issues), and a couple of books over 1,000 pages.

  1. The Decameron by Giovanni Boccaccio
  2. The Poppy War Trilogy by R. F. Kuang
  3. Goth by Otsuichi
  4. Dark Matter by Black Crouch
  5. An Unkindness of Ghosts by Rivers Solomon
  6. Jane Eyre by Charlotte Bronte
  7. The Broken Earth Trilogy by N. K. Jemisin
  8. Saga Series (Graphic Novel) by Brian K. Vaughn
  9. Songs of a Dead Dreamer and Grimscribe by Thomas Ligotti
  10. Almanac of the Dead by Leslie Marmon Silko

Have you read any of these? If so, what did you think?

I read ‘Dark Matter’ during a rough mental health period, and I remember I liked it but I don’t really remember much about it. I might reread it sometime (my mom says ‘Recursion’ is really good too.)

I’ve read the first two Poppy War books, they are really good. And Broken Earth trilogy is excellent. You’ll have lots of good reading on your island.
