Top Ten Tuesday: Books with Fall Covers

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl. This week’s Top Ten Tuesday is from a few weeks ago, September 7th. And, although it’s a question that specifically asks about picture books, I decided to go above and beyond.

Book Covers with Fall Colors/Vibes (or spring if you live in the southern hemisphere)

  1. Girl Woman Other by Bernardine Evaristo
  2. The Girl With All the Gifts by M. R. Carey
  3. American Spy by Lauren Wilkinson
  4. Year of the Death of Ricardo Reis / The Gospel According to Jesus Christ / Blindness by Jose Saramago
  5. The Haunting of Hill House by Shirley Jackson
  6. Q & A by Vikas Swarup
  7. The God Who Begat a Jackal by Nega Mezlekia
  8. Parable of the Sower by Octavia E. Butler
  9. Who Fears Death by Nnedi Okorafor
  10. The House of the Spirits by Isabel Allende

Have you read any of these?

The Haunting of Hill House is a fabulous fall read, and I love the cover, too! I’ve never heard of The God Who Begat a Jackal, but oh my gosh, I absolutely love that title!

    Here’s my TTT post.

I’ve heard great things about Who Fears Death.

Did you used to make Youtube responses to the TTT topics? You seem familiar. 🙂

The only book on this list I’ve read is ‘The Girl With All the Gifts,’ which I really loved. Even though I’ve never read ‘The Parable of the Sower’ I really did like ‘Kindred’ by the same author, and I’m interested in reading more of her books. One of the only ones I’ve never heard of at all is ‘The God Who Begat a Jackal,’ and I’m loving the title! 🙂
