The Yaa Gyasi, American Dirt, and the Zora Neale Hurston are all on my TBR list. Lots of good stuff coming out this year.

Yes, there seems to be quite a few good books on the horizon.

We had the ARC for American Dirt for the longest. By the time I decided I wanted to read I got sick and by the time I went back to work someone took it. I guess you snooze you loose.

Bummer – I think it’s gonna be a big book this year – I’m seeing it everywhere.

I’m eager to read Zora Neale Hurston’s book! I’ve always loved her writing, and I’m sure this’ll be no exception, even if it’s nonfiction. I hadn’t heard of Blackwood, but I’m definitely adding it to my TBR! It sounds great.

And, today is Hurston’s 129th birthday, so it makes this collection all the more timely. Right in the middle of her birth and her death.

I’m excited for the Hunger Games prequel, too.

I’m interested to see what happens/happened. I’m hoping it doesn’t crash and burn like other prequels. 🤞

The Gilded Ones and Transcendent Kingdom are both highly anticipated by me as well!
