Top Ten Tuesday: Favorite Reads of 2019

Can you believe this is the last Top Ten Tuesday of 2019? This year has been filled with a lot highs and a lot of lows and in between those highs and lows, I was able to get a little bit of reading done.

This week’s Top Ten Tuesday, which is hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl, is

Favorite Books I Read In 2019

Even though I didn’t read as much as I hoped to read for the most part I really enjoyed the books I read. The following list is in no particular order; but just know if it made the list, I recommend it.

  1. The Nickel Boys by Colson Whitehead
  2. Slay by Brittney Morris
  3. The Poppy War by R. F. Kuang
  4. Just Mercy by Bryan Stevenson
  5. The Deep by Rivers Solomon
  6. An Unkindness of Ghosts by Rivers Solomon
  7. We by Yevgeny Zamyatin

Have you read any of these? Do you have any books with numbers in the title?

And, don’t forget to check out my Youtube channel.

    • It was one of the few books I couldn’t take myself away from until I finished it. Granted it’s a short read, but there is so much that takes place in that little book. I’m actually going to reread it so I can do a comprehensive review.
