What Kind of Reader Are You?

I stumbled across this today and thought I’d share and ask.

I am so a Monogamist reader. I have several books going, but haven’t finished any of them because let’s face it I’m also a Neurotic reader.  And, I’m definitely an Introverted reader. I am pushing myself to read outside my comfort zone, but it’s been a slow process.

And, now it’s your turn. . .

What Kind of Reader Are You?

  1. Mostly monogamist, although occasionally a polygamist if one’s fiction and the others are non-fiction. I am both an introvert reader in that I analyse, but an extrovert in that I read multiple genres and I’m definitely an altruistic reader.

    • I wonder if having been a literature major made more of an Introverted reader. I do a lot of analyzing and annotating. I got out of reading multiple books simultaneously after college because I like to focus on one, but then I get board with that one and start another. Hence the neurotic reader. Nothing is finished.

  2. I’m a polygamist reader. I’ll often be reading four or five different titles and I have no issue keeping them apart. I just like having lots of different experiences to choose from when I’m in the mood to read.
