Top Ten Tuesday – Most Anticipated

I don’t have many books I’m anticipating for the first half of the year; and that is in part because I haven’t really been following upcoming releases. But here are the few I’m eagerly and very impatiently awaiting their release.

Most Anticipated Releases for the First Half of 2019

In no particular order. . .

I cannot WAIT for Tomi’s next book, children of blood and bone was one of my favourite reads from last year. She is such a talented writer. Black enough I’ve never heard of – now I think I’ll be picking it up, thank you 🙂

It does. I’m going to try and get it from library. There’s already a wait list.

I’m not surprised… I saw there were video interviews to go with it as well, so I’m going to have to watch those

The fourth one I’m not familiar with, but the first three are definitely ones I’m also looking forward to.

It’s the second in the Deavabad Series and City of Brass is the first. The series is considered high sci-fi fantasy. To be honest I need to finish the first book. Sometimes I just need publishers to stop publishing so I can get caught up.

I keep seeing lists of 2019 issues and there are a few that appeal – unfortunate given I am trying to cut down on new purchases 🙂

I am too. I have to say I’m definitely buying On the Come Up and Children of Virtue and Vengeance. I just received The Kingdom of Copper as an ARC and I usually don’t buy finished copies unless I really really loved the book. 5⭐ plus kind of thing.
