It’s that time of year again. My favorite time of year.

This week’s Top Ten Tuesday is:
Top Ten Books On My Fall TBR List
The books are already on my TBR List and part of several reading challenges.
- Waiting by Ha Jin
- The Namesake by Jhumpa Lahiri
- Song of a Dead Dreamer and Grimscribe by Thomas Ligotti
- Frankenstein by Mary Shelly
- Twelve Tribes of Hattie by Ayana Mathis
- Jane Eyre by Charlotte Bronte
- Dracula by Bram Stoker
- Norwegian Wood by Haruki Murakami
- One Hundred Years of Solitude by Gabrielle Garcia-Marquez
- The Fault in Our Stars by John Green
I have already resolved myself that I will not meet my reading challenge goals because according to Goodreads I’m 17 books behind my goal of 43. Having said that I hope to get these read by the end of the year. Since I’m moving back to the DC metro area at the end of the month there won’t be much time for reading. Only working and packing and then unpacking, working and school.
And because it’s fall I can’t wait to get back to DC so I can take that drive down Skyline Drive in Shenandoah to bear witness to the fall foliage beauty.
And maybe take a trip to Luray Caverns
Thanks! It is indeed a beautiful scenic drive. They have pull-offs so you can look over the vistas. Gorgeous to see the valley beneath. And if you’re lucky enough to be there at dusk you might encounter some deer frolicking or some other wildlife. I was horseback riding one year and saw a bear. My heart skipped a beat or two or three and I got a lump in my throat and my stomach was in knots. She looked up and then kept right on foraging. I guess most importantly the horse wasn’t spooked by her presence.
